Drainage solutions
Water is what ruins retaining walls, fences and yards.
Good drainage moves it away before it causes trouble, from soggy lawns to walls that lean.
Most drainage jobs come down to giving water an easy path: gravel and slotted pipe behind walls, trenches across wet spots and pipes that carry water to a proper outlet.
Because we dig with our own machines, we can trench, lay the pipe and backfill as one job, and fix the cause rather than just the symptom.
Watch it go together.

- Dig the trenchA trench is dug with enough fall to carry water away.
- Gravel and pipeA gravel bed and slotted pipe are laid along the trench.
- Backfill and turfThe trench is backfilled and the surface put back.

Where the water goes
Water needs a lawful outlet such as a stormwater point. Tell us where water currently runs.
Fall
Pipes need enough fall to carry water away. Levels are set during excavation.
Services
Trenching can cross pipes and cables. Locate services before digging.
Do retaining walls need drainage?
Yes. Gravel and a slotted drain pipe behind the wall stop water building up and pushing on it.
Can you fix a wet yard?
Often. We look at where the water comes from and where it can go, then trench and pipe it away.
Do you do the excavation for drainage?
Yes. We use our own excavators to trench and backfill.
